Colwood Information and Real Estate

The City of Colwood is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. There is a wide selection of houses for sale in Colwood BC, a community suitable for young families, retirees and people looking for a way of life that is close to both nature and convenient amenities. Just a short commute from BC’s capital city of Victoria, Colwood is a fast-growing, family-friendly waterfront community of just over 16,000 people that enjoys a rich heritage, a unique connection to nature and incredible potential.

Close to Beaches and Regional Parks

Colwood is just a short cycle or drive from the miles of walking trails that network Thetis LakeGoldstream Provincial Park is also close by, while Witty’s Lagoon is a perfect place to go hiking, observe wildlife, or spend a day at the beach.

On top of that, residents of Colwood know that a trip to the west coast of the Island is at least half-hour closer than when travelling from Victoria. And that’s an added bonus when travelling by car with children.

Colwood is adjacent to the only Costco on southern Vancouver Island. There is also a Walmart close by, and a variety of shopping at Westshore Town Centre.
